Thought I'd make my own thread since I'm usually adding or changing things here and there.

My last edition, AVS Hood Deflector,

It really flows with the body lines of the tC, looks great. Did you have yours painted? I would get one, but I am not really sure how well it would look or flow w/ my Kaminari Reverse Cowl Induction Hood (Fiberglass).

It's it's really flexible. It would work if you like it. Mine is the smoked acrylic one. I'm sure they would look awesome painted too.

So on my 14 hour drive to get my daughter one of my tires blew on the way back and I realized how jacked up my camber is. I'm looking into getting an SPC camber kit to fix it. My radio also decided to jam up on the way to get her so I need to get a new one this week. I found some 17" ADR DV8's with brand new Yokohama's and picked them up. I'll be using these while the TRD's are powder coated.

I don't know what happened to my early post. I was in the Badlands of Celltown. I was going to say something witty about your plethora of tire/wheel packages, but a recap will suffice at this juncture.

All around sweet looking tC. Like Cadence stated, "Everything flows". Could not say it better myself. Well, except in Japanese.:D

I was thrown for a moment when I look at your opening post. The last pict of your car, the reflection of your garage in the paint made it look like you had ghosted in some crushed pearl racing stripes like on the 1970 Boss 302 Mustang.

I think I am going to order that hood protector as it does not disturb airflow at the critical front section of the hood like traditional and even low-profile bug deflectors do. Bug deflectors cause the airstream to flow up over your windshield. What it does if murky up the boundary layer air causing a gain in drag. Drag in the rear of the vehicle is not quite as bad as drag in the front even at just highway speeds. I like that product that you got. Looks like it will protect the hood leading edge from rock damage.

Thanks for sharing but could you, perhaps, put down a list of current mods and what you have in store next? I like your front tow hook. Where did you get it?

Thanks. I have changed it a bit since that photo. I too have beaucoup mods sitting on the shelf that I can't seem to find time to do (ball and chain) and the fact that I have a torn rotator cuff and 5 bulging disk in my neck.

That is an extensive list you have. Are you planning on setting your NACA duct up to ram air feed your SRI? That is why I chose my VIS Evo Style CF hood. It has 2 NACA ducts molded in. I enlarged the one on the driver's side. Just haven't TIG welded an aluminum box to enclose the filter in.

Now, I have a whole new project and it has a turbo! Well, it's a tiny little .53 trim Garrett unit. It is attached to an inline 5 cylinder 20v DOHC 2,685 cc (163.8 cu in) 156 PS (115 kW; 154 hp) 330 N·m (243 ft·lbf in a Dodge Sprinter Van RV conversion.

I'm sorry to hear, I hope you heal up and things get better. Sounds like a nice little project you have going there. I am actually running a CAI so I was planning to just position the duct to have air flow towards the motor.
