I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good strut bar. I found the TRD one on the Sparks website. Is that one any good or are there other good ones out there? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The Greddy front strut bar, like all others, has mounting problems. The upper strut mount is not flat. This causes a problem with the strut bar mounts. The tC OEM struts have short upper mount bolts. This does not leave much thread to properly torque the nuts. You should have a minimum of 2 threads above the nut.

The Greddy mounts are not designed with the tC in mind. They provide 3/8" thick spacers to make do. The only way to use these would be to replace the studs. The Hotchkis design seems to work much better. I have used both of these.

Im learning that alot of Greddy parts are not designed with something in mind..... my radiator plate (that i bent to hell trying to get out) they didnt leave any hole for the hood prop, and it came in 2 freakin pieces....... i allways thought they had good quality products but it seems to not be the case when it comes to the tC

BTW a strut bar is a strut bar to be honest. Just go with the TRD. Hell you can make your own that works just as good as anyone from Greddy or TRD
