Three weeks ago I ordered a set of H&R coilovers for my TC but my credit card company messed up so my card was declined. The store contacted me and I told them that I was going to settle the conflict myself and that I would get back to them. In the meantime, I figured that I really don't need to spend that much money on my car so today I ordered TRD springs and TRD struts. After I placed my order I ate dinner and checked my e-mail again, the store I told to wait had already shipped out the H&R coilovers to me once they learned my credit card dilemma was over. So now I have brand new H&R coilovers($1075) on their way here along with brand new TRD springs and struts. I would really like to save the $350 and keep the TRDs but what I need is to know if the coilovers would be that much better. I know that I have the adjustability with the H&Rs but will they handle that much better and corner that much flatter than the TRDs? This is my daily driver so there is no auto-x involved. Please help me out, I can't decide. Thanks!!!:confused:

the coil overs are going to make your suspension very stiff. you will probably feel every peble in the road so if your not planing on doing anything with your car other than daily driver then the trd shocks and springs would be enough. but keep in mind if you do later want to track it the shocks and springs will help but nearly as much as the coilovers.

Save your money and go with the springs. I have the Hotchkis and having been tooling around on the OEM struts. No problems, happy with it, and can take the corners just as fast as anybody.
