I am looking to add some moderate suspension upgrades to help my 07 tC handle a little better. Anyone have any suggestions of which parts and/or brands would be best? Where should I start?

From what I understand, a front strut tower brace doesn't do all that much and the rear brace looks as if it will not fit without the interior being left apart.

Sway bars? Let me know what you think, and thanks in advance!

Engine Strut Bar does help to point and worth the money, plus it dresses up the engine bay. I would go w/ a name brand lowering spring (Eibach, TRD, Progress, Tein) for example. Struts I would upgrade (Tokico, TRD, Bilstein). Rear Sway Bars work amazingly well, I have one on my tC and the handling improved greatly, (Suspension Techniques, TRD, Progress, Hotchkis, Eibach). The rear strut bar isn't really going to do you much justice, the tC has a built in rear strut bar in the chassis. The only other product on the market that people are trying and having good success w/ is the Ingalls 4-Point Strut Brace.

What if I just put on a TRD rear sway bar for now? Would that work a little? I was trying to stay away from lowering the car as it is my daily (winter) car. I posted this question on my MR2 forum and one guy seems to think this will make the car handle worse and that I need a front sway bar. I think TRD doesn't make one for a reason. It probably isn't needed. I suppose I could do a front strut brace and the rear sway bar for now... Thoughts?

The 1st suspension mod I had was the TRD rear sway bar. It felt a lot tighter instantly. I added the TRD front strut at the same time that I lowered the car on TRD springs, so I can't really tell you anything besides those 3 mods together were a of fun for spirited daily driving.

Since then I've added 2 c-pillar bars, a harness bar, swapped the springs for TRD coilovers, and added a rear strut bar as well. All of these will help keep the tC flat through the turns.

After reading several reviews, I think I am going to go with the Progress rear sway bar. I recently picked up a Honda Ruckus which has been stealing my financial attention, but when that fades off a little, I can get back on track with the tC. Thanks for the feedback Oregon and Cadence!
