TC noob

    I'm looking for a tc but I don't know much about them so I'm here to get some info and hope to buy one soon

    If your looking to by a tC, I would suggest buying either an o5 or o6. The newer tC's are just as nice, but the newer ones have a slightly higher compression 9:8.1 compared to the older ones that have 9:6.1, plus lower compression is best for boosting. Since your in the market for a tC, do you have a budget in mind? I would also like to recommend if you can get your hands on one would be to look for an RS Edition tC. The RS Edition is slightly more sporty than the base model, but will cost you a bit more as well. The nice part about the RS Edition is the 18'' Enkei Wheels, nicer grille, ground effect package, sub woofer in the hatch and a more eye appealing interior. I have a 2006 Scion tC (Azure Pearl) w/ almost 23,000 miles on it and I love the car, so dependable and reliable, plus good gas mileage. The mods available for the Scion tC's are just about endless, you can opt for aftermarket or go all TRD, the choice is all up to you.

    My budget for a tc is 9-10k so that does not give me many options but since i'm going to run n/a it would be better if i got a 07 and up. Thank you on the info on the compression that just helps me narrow my search ever more

    She's drives better then I thought and as far as mods I want to add some HID's , yellow fogs, trunk lip and maybe a the front bumper lip so now its time to do some research to find out what lights will fit on the car I don's plan to do much to the car except keep it clean nothing is sexier then a clean car
