Texas Motorplex Fastest Street Car Summer Shakedown

Import vs. Domestic August 19, 2006


In an effort to turn street racers onto taking their racing to the track, the Texas Motorplex has formatted an event for street legal cars to complete in a heads up and safe environment. The Fastest Street Car in Texas Shakedown has been formatted to incorporate all the fun of racing into a legal and sanctioned event. No hassle from the cops, no worry about running, just a good day at the races with you and your friends. With four index classes there is something for everyone. The index classes are 11.50, 12.50, 13.50 and 14.50 seconds. With this being the Texas Fastest Street Car Shakedown the fastest heads up cars will be classed in the Shakedown class. This class is for the Baddest of the bad and fastest of the fast. The Shakedown class will be a one time shot at the track for all the money and marbles. Prize money and bragging rights are up for grabs in all four classes at the Texas Fastest Street Car Shakedown.

Vendor Gates Open 2pm
Participant Gates Open at 4pm
Time Trials at 6:00pm
Fastest Street Car time trials all day
Index Eliminations at 8:30pm
Fastest Street in Texas Show Down at 10:30pm
