    So I'm about to buy a pair of 18" RS1 rims and I'm not quite sure what tire size to get...? I need something that has really good grip. I been searching and can't find a clear answer. I have seen that 245/35/18 is the best but then I seen 225/35/18 is good.... lol. Anyone have some suggestions on what soze I should proly go for?

    Are these Lorinser, Rennen, or BBS RS1 wheels? The critical number for tire fitment is the rim width. Remember, the sidewall number is a percentage of the tread width. Tire width is expressed in millimeters. So, to calculate the required width, you have to convert the rim width in inches to millimeters. The easiest way is to call your local trusted tire shop and see what tire they recommend for the wheel you are using.

    Pending on what size 18's you have, I would suggest a 225/40/18. I also recommend the following tires:

    * GoodYear Eagle GT's
    * GoodYear Eagle F1's All-Season
    * Hankook K106

    I would also have your tires filled w/ nitrogen instead of o2.

    the rims are the RS1.0 release series the enki super 7 that you were able to upgrade. the tires on them now are 225/40/18 but i wasnt sure if that was the best recommended size or not.

    As long as they fit and your happy w/ them, then go for it. I refuse to use good wheels in the winter, hence why the OEM 17's go back on in October-November.

    I personally prefer the 225/40/18 but that's just my 2cents. Look at my profile w/ my wheels and tires and see if it suits your taste and compare it to the 225/45/18.
