I have heard mixed opinions whether or not flush out the tranny fluid in our Scion's. Some people say yes and some say no because it causes tranny issues down the road. Other people have upgraded their tranny fluid to a synthetic blend. Any myth or truth to this?

A flush on an automatic with alot of miles is worth it as it gets the sludge out of the torque converter. Nothing to worry about till somewhere over 50K miles. The tC uses coolant water to cool the trans fluid so it does tend to get overheated. Synthetic fluid is not required but is better than the standard fluid.
