what is a decent tire that will last a decent amount of time but still give good performance and not over priced for an every day commuter car? Or are the stock wheels that come on the car the best option.

I have sumitomo htr+. They're cheap, sticky, and pretty reasonable for a daily commuter car.

You can get a set installed w/road hazard for around $500 by me.

I guess my Nitto Invo's are out of the question; expensive and a high wear rating. They are super sticky yet not shown much wear yet till I start hitting those corners hard. They are remarkably quite. The only noise that I hear is on these Texas FM backroads where the tar permeates up thru the gravel. Sounds like peelign up duct tape.

I work at discount tire and i've been looking at bfg g-forces and the new goodyear gt's. The gt's seem like they'll give a good ride, and from what i've seen so far on other cars, they are wearing pretty good.

The stock tires suck, to be frank.

My Hankook K106s are radials and are supposed to last a long time, they stick very very well.

I'll be getting Nitto NeoGens as my next set. Probably got about 6 months left of tread left before I gotta drop the cash for them though.

The Neogens are awesome, a friend uses them on his EVO X and I just get to burn them up and down at the mall after hours.
