Whats a good brand of header??

    Hey im totally new to working on cars in general and i dont know what kind of header to get for my Tc. If i get a new header will i have to do anything else to it?

    Welcome to Club-tC! If you plan on getting a header for your tC, you have 2 options.

    1) 4-1 header ( Mid/High Power Range)
    2) 4-2-1 header ( Low/Mid Power Range)

    As far as name brands go, I would recommend these:

    * Weapon-R
    * DC Sport
    * Strup
    * Alphawerks

    * Just don't buy a Megan Header, their not the greatest of quality.

    I would also recommend having the header Jet-Coated by (Jet-Hot.com). A header is going to increase the sound of your exhaust and rasp, so to help cut down on rasp, replace your OEM resonator with a longer one from Magnaflow or a Moroso Spiral Flow Resonator. You can even upgrade the OEM CAT with a high-flow CAT. You may also need what's called a CEL Eliminator or a Anti-Fouler.
