im hearing some weird squeeks from my wheels. at first i thought it might be my brakes, but now im thinking its my wheel bearings. has anyone else had this problem? If so leme know what it is and how to fix it. I was thinking about buying some new wheels bearings. IF i do do that how many bearings should i buy?

Well, my squeeks were caused by my brakes. My only experience with bad wheel bearings is that they cause more of a knock or bang, not a squeek. My wife's bearings in her 2000 Accord went out about a month ago and they were causing a knocking sound.

That and sometimes you get a grinding vibration. So how many miles on your car? Are these OEM wheels and stock brake pads? Just jack the vehicle up. Now rotate the wheel and jerk it back/forth and side to side. Do you feel it give (play), make a popping or grinding feeling? Now remove the tire and inspect your brake caliper. Is there any brake fluid or grease on them. Look at the wear indicator on the brake pad. I believe that it is the outer one. Is it touching the rotor.

If it is not the brake pads, then the problem should be covered under warranty.

Its most likely your pads, i had a similar sound that i heard. Went to Toyota and they changed my brakes and sanded my rotors, DON'T BUY pads directly from Toyota ( my opinion do what you want), they cost so dam much, and they last so dam little (i brake hard some people have them lasting for a long time... congrats). I think its the only way the car warns the driver it's pads has worn significantly, it should get louder as time goes on.

alright, i know what your saying. I ordered new brakes all around, with new pads, however i hear this squeek when im NOT breaking. So i dono if its the brakes anymore, or something more serious.
