I recently installed the Seibon Carbon Fiber hood on my 08 tC. The stock wiper nozzles didn't fit my hood. They were too large for the holes. Do any of you guys or gals know of any smaller wiper nozzles that will fix this problem? Please help me out. Thanx.

Why not trim the holes a little bit and make it work?

use a reamer to make the hole bigger. Even a power drill will work. you dont have to worry about massing the CF up because your hole needs to go all the way through anyway. Where did you get your hood? Ive been shopping around and i cant seem to find a price i like.

What's a reamer? Don't laugh if I dont know. lol. I know what a drill is tho which is a plus. My brother got it a a local shop in El Centro, CA called Elite motorsports. I got it for $475 which what i think it normally cost anyway. It's a Seibon hood and he said it looks sweet. I will post up pics of it 2morrow since I have to wait for my bro to send them to me. He is doin the work for me since i'm currently deployed in the middle east.

Ah I see, well thanks for serving the country? what branch?
I didnt know what a reamer was either until we had to do the same thing to my friends silver CF hood. Is a little sharp tool that can be used to extend circular holes and make them bigger, and very clean. A google search under reamer tools will do very well.

Yeah... I don't think my custom silver cf hood is going to come with any holes... at all...

I'm too scared to drill holes into it for the washer nozels and the pins (assuming I get pins), so I would probably have a body shop do it lol. Unless it is stupid expensive to have a shop do it.

If you already have holes, then use a small round file and a small bastard (flat) file to gently enlarge the holes. The holes are not just round but have 2 square notches opposite of each other. I would suggest removing your nozzles from the stock hood and using as a guide. You don't want to make them too big. My VIS Evo-style hood came with the holes, but they were way too small.

So your in Logistics hey. Ever load a Navy C-130T from VR-54? You just might be talking to me. I am one of 3 Load Masters currently on Detachment here at OBBI. I am the guy that zaps everything with "Don't Mess With Texas " stickers! I am still trying to find any Scions plowing the sand. Any luck where your at? The big F-1 race at the Bahrain International Speedway is coming up next week. Too bad that we have to vacate during that time.

Thanx for the info navy. Naw no loading for me. They have me stuck in an aircraft parts store which is not too bad. Kinda boring actually. Definitely no Scions out here thats for sure. Lol. I saw one Mustang GT and a bunch of lancers, but thats on base. We can't go off base really which is a bummer. I miss my tC tho too much tho. Goin home in 2 months which is good. Almost done.
